All our dogs are tested and hand selected by members of our staff and then shipped to our facility for training. Upon arrival, a licensed veterinarian will examine the canine. The canine will be x-rayed to insure there are no signs of elbow and/or hip dysphasia. The canine will undergo blood test to rule out heartworms, parasites, or any other disease which could affect the working ability of the animal. The canine must demonstrate a sound temperament and show no signs of fear on slick floors, steps, loud or unusual noises, and gunfire. The dog must display a social behavior and show aggressive behaviors only when threatened. The Canine’s aggression must be well balanced, displaying both prey and defensive drives. The dog must be capable of successfully completing the courses of patrol and (narcotics/explosive) detection training. All our police K9's come with health and work guarantees. If the canine you selected for your department cannot complete the canine course he or she was purchased for, due to the dog's inability to work, the canine will be replaced.   We will not sell a dog that we wouldn’t work ourselves.

The selected canine will also undergo and successfully complete the course your department has selected. After completing the selected training course, the handler from you department will undergo and successfully complete a handler’s course, designed for your department. All training will meet the standards set by the association your department has selected whether it is United States Police Canine Association or National Narcotic Detector Dog Association. After the completion of the handler’s course and certification, your department will receive the following documentation: veterinarian records, training records, certification certificates and etc.
